Wealth Minerals Ltd., Argentina

The Diamante-Los Patos property is located in the northwest part of Argentina and is owned by Wealth Minerals Ltd.  I spent the early part of 2007 at the property mapping and sampling trenches, particularly at the Los Patos zone.  I completed a report and numerous cross-sections describing the geology and mineralization at Los Patos and oversaw an Alpha Cup survey at the Los Patos and Diamante zones.  

The uranium mineralization on the property is hosted in a package of dacitic to rhyolitic  ignimbrites and block & ash fall deposits on the flanks of the Cerro Galan Caldera complex.  The uranium bearing minerals occur as cement material in the fragmental volcanics, predominately as secondary minerals such as autinite.
