Lund Gold Ltd., Brazil

Lund Gold Ltd. owns a prospective gold property in the Carneirinho area of north central Brazil.  I spent a month in 2007 completing property-scale mapping, sampling and an investigation of the mineralization types on the property.

The mineralization is of the structurally-controlled intrusion-hosted variety not dissimilar from the Tintina Gold Belt in Yukon-Alaska.  Gold is associated with regional northeast and northwest trending structures principally in a late/post-orogenic granitoid body locally containing 1-5% pyrite.  A number of active garimpos currently exist on the property with an historical production in excess of 3 tonnes of gold.
