I spent approximately 2 months in late 2010 working as a drill geologist/core logger at Sage Gold’s Clavos project.  The single-drill program was initiated in November of 2010 and was designed to upgrade existing resource blocks for the Hangingwall and Footwall Zones.

The property is situated along the Pipestone Fault, a major lithotectonic break between the Porcupine sedimentary rocks to the south and the Tisdale volcanic rocks to the north.  Coarse free gold is hosted in sheared, altered and quartz-carbonate veined ultramafic volcaniclastic rocks and spatially associated structurally hosted silicified feldspar porphyries.  The vein-hosted gold is generally associated with small amounts of fine grained disseminated arsenopyrite and pyrite.
