SUMMARY

I am an experienced geologist with a strong interest in and experience with a wide variety of metal deposits.  I have worked on a number of base and precious metal properties and deposits both in Canada and internationally.  For the past two years I have been employed with APEX Geoscience as a Project Geologist which has allowed me to learn about a number of widely diversified deposits and prospects including epithermal base/precious metal, Archean orogenic gold, porphyry copper, volcanic hosted uranium and diamondiferous kimberlite.  My time with APEX has also allowed me to acquire a large and varied geology-related skill set including project management, drill supervision, above and underground mapping, ground geophysics, soil/stream/kimberlite sampling and Technical Report writing.

EXPERIENCE

International

Wealth Minerals, Salta region, Argentina (2007)

Trench mapping, sampling and regional prospecting at a volcanic-hosted uranium property.  This project included the submittal of a report

detailing the geology of the immediate area and results from regional prospecting.

Lund Gold, Carneirinho, Brazil (2007)

Property and showing scale mapping at and around an intrusion-hosted gold deposit.  Project involved the submission of a report and map

detailing the geology of the property.

Greenshield Resources, Cuenca, Ecuador (2007)

Property scale mapping of Plinean volcanics and continental fluivial rocks including an economic assessment of the property.  This project

included the submittal of a report and map detailing the geology of the area.

Canadian

Sherwood Copper Ltd., Minto Mines, Yukon (2006-2007)

Acted as primary drill logger and supervisor.  Project also involved the creation of a core library, analysis of ICP geochemical data and a report

on the geology and paragenesis of the deposit.

Anglo Columbia, New Moon Project, Smithers B.C. (2007)

Property and showing scale mapping and sampling of historic and newly discovered epithermal showings.  Project supervisor.  Author of 43

101 and assessment report for aforementioned property.  Several new mineral showings discovered by the author.  Supervision of large historic

data compilation project.

Ashton Resources, Red Earth AB (2007)

Completion of a bulk sample of three kimberlite pipes and ground geophysics proximal to these pipes.

Committee Bay Resources, Committee Bay Belt, Nunavut (2006-2007)

Mapping and sampling at several of the showings throughout the greenstone belt.  Included overseeing a flycamp and the writing of several

reports on the geology of specific showings.

Ravencrest Resources, Siwash Property, Merritt B.C. (2006)

Property-scale mapping and economic evaluation of historic showings.  Included the writing of a 43-101 and the implementation of an enzyme

leach study to assess the quality of soil sample ICP and fire assay results.

Tenajon Resources Inc, Summit Lake Project, Stewart B.C. (2006)

Showing-scale mapping and sampling of two separate epithermal veins.  Underground mapping and soil sampling.  Supervision of a drill

program including drillcore logging, site setups and supervision.

Miramar Mining, Hope Bay Volcanic Belt, Nunavut (2004-2005)

Drillcore logging and mapping at the Naartok (Madrid) deposit.  Data gathered for M.Sc thesis.

Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated, Bathurst Inlet, Reagan Lake and Back River, Nunavut (2003)

Regional mapping and sampling in areas prospective for VHMS and iron-formation hosted gold deposits.  Data gathered for B.Sc. thesis.

DeBeers Canada, Pickle Lake ON (2002)

Till sampling and Quaternary mapping in a number of areas near Pickle Lake, Ontario, Canada.

Ontario Geological Survey, Heaven Lake Belt ON (2001)

Junior field assistant in search of economic mineralization in a greenstone belt north of Thunder

Bay proximal to the Lac des Illes mine.

EDUCATION

The University of Western Ontario – M.Sc.  A geological assessment of the Naartok deposit at the center of the Miramar-owned Hope Bay

Volcanic Belt.  Thesis involved a detailed review of petrology, mineralization, geochemistry and structural geology through mapping, core

logging, petrography and various analytical geochemistry techniques.

The University of Western Ontario – B.Sc.  A study of the petrology and economic potential of sillimanite-grade banded iron formation hosted

gold west of Bathurst Inlet, Nunavut.

Two short courses taken on Structural Geology & Exploration Geochemistry at Laurentian University, Sudbury Ontario.

Numerous economic-related field trips including the Southwest USA (Cu porphyry etc), Superior Province (orogenic Au), Cornwall England

(Sn and kaolin) and the Grenville Province.
